JORDAN is my MySpace friend. Our mutual friend is Tasha J, who I shot for MMA Hawaii Magazine. That's how we got started talking about modeling.
I could tell from her pictures that she had nice skin. I hate editing in Photoshop so I prefer models with clear skin and few blemishes. In addition, her skin color was absolutely gorgeous! Her overall body structure was nice too. My guess was that she was involved in sports or some other physical activity.
It didn't take long to decide that I wanted to add her to my portfolio.

Having helped several of my models apply to be background extras, I've learned that sometimes people don't have a clue where to begin. So I put together this step-by-step guide on what to include when writing the casting director of a movie or TV show.
I use a simple 3-step approach.
- Write a letter.
- Include a resume.
- Attach photos.

One of my favorite ways to find new models is by referral. That's how I met NIKKI, through our mutual friend Mahie. I'm always skeptical when a girl tells me that her friend is pretty. Boy, what a pleasant surprise!
